CRAFTED IN RHYTHM

Food Philosophy

At MAGURO Studio, our philosophy begins before the knife hits the board. We cook with purpose, starting each day with what’s best — clean cuts, peak-season ingredients, and precise timing. We stay rooted in tradition, but never stop asking questions. Every detail is rethought, refined, and rebuilt to serve something honest.

Omakase here isn’t just a menu. It’s a rhythm — each course curated like a playlist by our chefs. Some raw, some warm, some kissed by the flame — all intentional. We don’t overdo. We don’t perform. We let the fish & and the story speak.

The People Behind

The Founders

MAGURO Studio began not as a restaurant, but as an idea — a shared obsession with doing things right, from the fish to the feeling.

Mr. Lành, the founder, brings the vision. A lifelong lover of Japanese cuisine, he dreamed of a space that’s honest, unpretentious, and uncompromising on quality. One where every detail — from playlist to plating — is intentional.

Mr. Lâm, the head chef, brings the knife. With years behind the counter and a deep respect for craft, he leads the kitchen not with ego, but with rhythm. Every cut, every composition, every dish reflects his instinct and discipline.

Together, they built MAGURO Studio — not to impress, but to express. This is their kitchen. Their story.

TRUST THE COUNTER

The Experience

Dining at MAGURO Studio isn’t just about food — it’s about rhythm, connection, and being part of something unfolding in real time.

There’s no fixed script. Our omakase evolves with the season, the chef’s instinct, and the quality of the catch. One evening might feature kinmedai lightly cured in sea salt, another highlights chutoro, scallop with a hint of truffle, or simply the clean sweetness of raw shrimp. Every dish is precise — meant to surprise, softly.

We guide the playlist. You set the pace.
Sit back, lean in, and let the counter do what it does best.

HONOR THE FISH

Fish Butchery

At MAGURO Studio, fish butchery isn’t background work — it’s the center of the story.

We source whole bluefin tuna directly from Japan and break it down in-house, piece by piece. Every cut is done by trained hands using traditional Japanese techniques — not just to portion, but to preserve flavor, texture, and integrity. From akami to otoro, nothing is rushed. Nothing is random.

This is why the fish tastes the way it does — clean, balanced, and exactly as it should.

You might catch it in action. No spotlight, no performance. Just a fish, a blade, and years of practice behind every move.

Before there’s omakase, there’s this.
And that makes all the difference.
